Bad news for all the women who adore Shahid Kapoor. The actor is set to get engaged this October.

What’s more, Shahid is also tying the knot two months later, in December. Though Shahid and his family are not willing to reveal much, sources say the girl is from a business family in Mumbai and she is a fashion designer.


What’s most interesting about this development is that Shahid, who has been rumoured to have had several relationships in the past, is settling down with a girl chosen by his family. Shahid says, “I am truly getting hitched this year. It’s a special moment for me and my family.”


One of Shahid’s close friends says, “The duo first met each other at a family function and things instantly clicked between them. Seeing the chemistry between them, their respective families asked them if they were willing to take things forward. It was a yes from both sides. We are very happy that they are taking their relationship forward.”


An eyewitness further gave us information that nowadays after wrapping up a shoot, Shahid takes his ladylove out for long drives. Few days ago, they were even seen having dinner at a posh suburban hotel and sources say both were so engrossed in each other’s company that they ended up spending four hours at the eatery.
